About Me

My life's work had been a deep commitment to introspection and transformation. I have spent most my adult life developing self awareness, understanding interpersonal dynamics, transforming limiting ways of thinking and patterning, healing hurts that get in the way of showing up, and an ongoing practice of abiding in my true nature. I bring a breadth of experience and training to reworking psychological material and helping people feel better.

I have had the tremendous good fortune of working with my spiritual teacher Jennifer Welwood for the last 20 years. She is an expert in psycho-spiritual inquiry, meditation practice, Tibetan Buddhist teaching, and understanding and teaching conscious relationship. She has taught conscious relationship worldwide with her husband and renowned author John Welwood . Her teachings and guidance inform my practice and have shaped my work as a therapist and for that I am eternally grateful.

Being a therapist is my life's calling and I feel deep gratitude to be here and to offer this work. It brings me great joy to witness and support clients as they transform and become the authentic loving beings they are here to be.

Throughout years of my own practice I have learned that beneath all the layers of doing, feeling, thinking and sensing there exists a vast resource of grounding and support. This is the authentic part of us, underlying the persona that is our true nature. When we choose to inhabit our true nature, we abide in a vast space of grounding, support, open-heartedness, clarity and capacity.

My specialties are attachment work, trauma and conscious relationship. This work involves attachment healing, understanding and reworking family systems and relationship dynamics, parts work, healing trauma or past hurt that effects the present, addressing thinking habits, taking ownership and responsibility for choices and learning non-blaming communication.

I earned my graduate degree in Integral Counseling Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies in 1999. I am licensed in California as a Marriage Family Therapist (MFT #41004). My practice and training includes Gestalt Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Transpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness, The Enneagram (a wonderful tool that helps in developing self awareness), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective treatment for healing trauma and working with PTSD, and Feeling States Therapy a tool helpful to process addictive tendencies and patterning.
